Photographs are kept exactly as the camera wrote them and hashed with SHA-256 on the way in, so the date the camera recorded stays part of the evidence.

Each party signs on the pad; the signature and the date go on the last page of the PDF.

The report and the files

The PDF carries every photograph with its hash; the zip carries the original files with a manifest of names, hashes and sizes.
