Find Out Whether Anybody in Your Data Is Alone CROWD
Taking the names out does not make a dataset anonymous. A date of birth, a postcode and a sex identify most people on their own, and this works out who that is.
The dataset
The file you are about to publish, or hand over, or attach to an answer. It is read by this tab and goes nowhere, which is the only sensible way to handle a file precisely because you are not yet sure what is in it.
What each column is
This is the step that decides whether the answer means anything. A quasi-identifier is anything somebody could already know or look up about a person — their age, their postcode, their sex, the date they were admitted. The guesses below come from the headings and from how varied each column is; they are guesses.
