Cut Your Home Out of the Track Before You Share It TRAIL
A GPS track from a run or a ride starts at your front door and ends there. Shared as it is, it is your address, with the time you leave the house. This draws the track with no map under it, cuts a distance from each end and everything within a circle round any place you mark, drops the times and the body data if you want, and writes a plain GPX back out.
The track
A GPX file, or a TCX from a Garmin. Export one from your watch's app or from the site you use; it is read here and never leaves this tab. There is no map behind the track on purpose: a map means asking a tile server for the tiles round your house.
What to cut
Or click anywhere on the track to circle that place. Everything inside a circle is cut.
A track with its ends cut still points the way you came, so cut more than feels necessary. If the times stay, the gap between what is kept and what was cut still says roughly when you were near home.
